Photographing animals' natural behavior is challenging and exciting. Getting into their world can be tricky in itself, but it can also be as easy as taking a five minute drive. I enjoy watching and photographing animals both on land and in the sea, in the wild and the not so wild.

Underwater photography is fun yet challenging, especially off the coast of California. Visibility is generally murky, between five and sixty-five feet, and the water is often clouded by plankton. It's those very conditions that encourages such a profuse variety of wildlife. I took the following photos at various dive sites in California, and a few sites in Key Largo, Florida.
