My Underwater PhotographyAll the photos shown below were taken at Pt. Lobos Reserve, Carmel on two dives. These dives were a part of the Marine Discovery course taught by Maureen McEvoy with Wallins Dive Center. I highly recommend the course. This particular part of the course focused on kelp ecology and fish ID. Pt. Lobos Reserve dive area in Whaler's cove is filled with encrusting sponges, big rock fish, painted greenlings, ling cod, crabs of various kinds, anemones, limpets, and harbor seals and their pups.
